The Max Media Social Search Engine ( www.The-Babel.com ), developed with technology acquired from Internet technology developer BlackStar Entertainment Technologies Inc., will allow users to search all data being generated in real time by Max Media’s sites as well as all relevant real-time information being generated on social media sites Twitter, Youtube, Digg, and eventually Facebook.
The growth of social media giants has led to a mountain of real time information being generated by over 700 million users worldwide that belong to social media sites. Marketing and information experts consider the real-time user generated information being produced by these users to be the “Holy Grail” of developing precise marketing and real time consumer demographics. The rise of GPS-driven services like Foursquare, which identifies a users real location status, are part of this new trend of organizing and identifying real time user generated information to create more effective marketing campaigns.
The largest search engines, Google and Bing, have begun to enter real time SMS by importing Facebook and Twitter feeds. A recent agreement between Facebook and Bing will allow Microsoft’s search engine to return results based on the Facebook “Likes” of the searcher’s friends.
